cant get files to work

I got the files from the thread mirrored mir 1.9 emulator files for everyone, but im having a problem getting them to work, i followed the guide the guy gave in the thread aswell, but i dont think the apps are loading properly.

Also whats this 3in1 and reg server stuff? i'v seen it talked about, but im not sure what it actually is?

You need either damians reg server program which can be found here.

d/l it and follow the instructions on that post or if u want 2 use the 3in1.exe which can potentialy mess up ur IP/TCP settings follow this.


First, you will need to run the 3in1 exe wich is located in the "#in1" folder (or the first icon in the server starting folder). You will see a IP adress in that program. Go in to your "mir200" folder, and open setup.txt, scroll to the bottom. You will see:

[Reg]
Key=testfsdmir2 (dont touch this line and dont include this writing)
IP=PUT THE IP GIVEN IN THE "3IN1" PROGRAM HERE
ServerAddr=PUT THE IP GIVEN IN THE "3IN1" PROGRAM HERE
ServerPort=60320 (dont touch this line and dont include this writing)

i belive thats jst gamegate loading everything. I stand 2 b corrected tho

Are you hosting it offline or online? If online, then there is a wrong IP, if offline i stil think there is a wrong IP somewhere.

Most likely you forgot to change the server name somewhere or made a typo.

I'v looked through and it all seems ok, but on my gamegame im getting an error "Windows socket error: only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted" could this be the problem?

is this login server? not sure if 1.9 login server is the same... beside loginserver.exe there're ini/txt files... open those and make sure you have 127.0.0.1

you have to get the ip's of those who are trying to connect.

Example:
if your ip = 1.2.3.4 and you setup ms loopback adapter, other computers with ip 1.2.3.* won't be able to connect.
