Cant get past this gate.

Hey im not 100% sure what this gate is but....

It wont let me past it, i changed the name from MasterQ to LS and it had (good) by the side of it but it still dont work.

Me and my mate who are putting servers up are both stuck at this spot.

We have checked all ips and set them all to 127.0.0.1 and have checked the ports we just dunno whats the problem. Now it is affecting both of us im guessing we both did something wrong on SQL.

Have you been through the entire LS guide again? (its posted on another thread with the links to my web site.)

If you follow that guide, you shouldn't really be able to go wrong setting up and running a 3.38 or less server.

Post back if you are sure nothing is wrong.

So lets see what your server is doing - it is talking to accounts and the right gates, as you can login but the second it gets to making a Char, it stops - this could be the gates, the IP Settings or the server name or of course the ODBC / SQL AS Defined in both the ODBC Settings and the !Setup.txt.

Im certain all the ips are correct and the names are also correct.
I recently downloaded EI Server thinking ide need that but in two guides and two server files ive downloaed it hasnt been in them. ATM ive called the server Avenge and have all the ips as 127.0.0.1. I Really dunno what the problem is and ive like redone everything 3 times over and still remain at this problem.

The server files i have are called 3.55 working along with hl3.56 if that means anything.

In the first screenshot you can see that the mirlogin.exe keeps connecting then disconecting from the server im guessing this is the problem, ive gone over all ips and names and all match the same.

On the second screenshot it shows the order of which ive tried to run the server(LoginSVR, DBSVR, Login Gate, Reg server(which used to be called 登陆器器 in my Mirserver folder, i was guessing i needed this and if i dont ive already tried to run server without) Selectcharagate and run gate.

On third screenshot it shows that ive set all of it to defalt and account to account, game1 to game1 and so on. Ive found quite a few people have got stuck at this spot includeing me and Mirlin.

OK! I Got past this part but now it still dont work LOL! wtf is with this!.

I Can make a chara i click start game the loading......... screen dont come up its just a clack screen now.

Try changing your client version number in the cd.ini file to 20050224 i had to do this to get rid of the black screen problem.

Make if in your server,in control panel, regional and language setting are all in Chinese PRC "Except keyboard XD"

i dont have black screen (i get the connecting to server box but the other box to get into game doesent come up)
