Can't use Assassin on 2.6

I have managed to create a server. But I can't seem to select the assassin as a in-game character. The button is there on the character selection screen but once pressed it does not change to a green border to show its selected.

I am using lifco's 2.6 mir files along with korea client mir2_20080213f

From the download, I am already using kyndig's M2Server.exe and DBServer.exe

I have also looked through the Thread "My 2.6 Files" still no solution
