yes thats correct now, bmw did by rover n MG then rover went bankrupt then i think the chinese brought MG not so long ago

Was the Chinese and i heard something about there making a new model MG not sure though.

im saving up atm to start my project, buying a astra old mk3 n puttin it on the drive, prob a 1.6. then ripping its guts completley out and starting from scratch. gonna take me about a year by calculations of cost and earning the cost :P but should be quite nice by the end. ive worked out how ot fit 17 speakers and 2 subs along with 4 batts + 5 amps and altonator all in hte back.. pritty sick when i look at my designs. may have to remove my back seats but thats only if i cant get the right speakers.

i will once i get my m8 2 draw em up prop, n yeah ive dun alittle maths and it works on a slight curve into the seats and a slope front with hidden underlay. alot of remaking, coz im strippin the car out n remaking it ground up. making room if i have too.

how u gunna mount an alternator in the back? must have a pretty long belt?
