I haven't driven it yet - I only ordered insurance on Sunday.

Also don't have tax on it, which can't be done until the insurance documents come through.

dammmmm that insurance perm is madness whos that through ?

i would seriously shop around tbh as 1.987.06 is a rip off for insurance on a 1.2 fiesta even at 17 iam sure you could get it lower then that

how old is the car ?

It's with Quinn Direct (which is the cheapest quote I've found - looked through loads). Most insurance companies won't insure me because of my age.

The price is through the roof because as I previously said, I live in London and will be parking it on the streets.

I was going to buy a Ford Festa 1.1 and my insurance was like 1400.

Quinn is a good company if you have things like 1.4i. but I recomend Ensligh 17-21 or NFA (National farmers assosiation) NFA may sound gay but its magga cheep specialy if you own a few farm animals :D

Max speed i know it can go to: 125 and then it may crawl some more
Max speed i have had it up to: 110 (On the M6) Will see if i can beat that tomorrow, have to go somewhere and it has an awesome road for going fast.

I rag it quite a lot because i enjoy speed, when i took my driving test i got 13 minors, most of them for doing things too fast. The examiner said he was happy to pass me though because i had "excellent control of the car".

I dont drive fast if i directly risk harming others, if i know the kids are out of school or its the holidays i will slow down in the residential areas etc

You can dry fast you just need to be well aware of your surroundings.

That is a blatant contradiction - every time you speed in a public place you are putting others at risk.

The same mantra goes for drunk or drugged up drivers who say I drive slow and take extra care.

I drive carefully, defencively and alert to everything and everyone in and near the space I am driving but I know the one thing I can't always predict is other drivers and what they think is ok.

Driving is hazardous and the way the hazard is reduced is by setting speed limits and driving rules, once you break those rules you are essentially an accident waiting to happen and causing a danger to others.

theres always risks once u get into ur car by going over the speed limit wont change the actions of drivers around you, speed limits probably reduce risks but ull always get some 1 that doesnt check his wing miror and pulls into the next lane, and no matter what speed ur doing ur not gna stop from hitting him.

my view on driving is go as fast as u like and pull of as fast as u like but be sensible about it and be aware because if a crash is gna happen it will and *** all u can do about it.

I'll update my insurance premium once I have my pass plus discount off of it and it finally comes through (that was just the quote - which you can't state pass plus in).

Always loved Astra's for some reason, same with the Vectra's.

THE all time best car in the world has to be the Bugatti Veyron

With 1001 BHP this beast can reach 0-60 in ONLY 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 253MPH.

Under the bonnet is a Quad-Turbocharged W16 :O witch is 2 V8 engine.

And just look at it....

You can just feel the power.... If anyone has a spear 1.2 million pounds... they could be kind and buy me one!
