Or maybe take your time to lvl it as we all did regarding of how the skills works? Or maybe you want some cookies handed on the plate to you with other buffs that you might want ?
You can't cast it once it's already used. Increasing the duration would mean it would take far longer to level it. I don't want anything more than to have the same advantage the players who starter earlier have had. If it gets harder to level a skill, the skill points required should be decreased to compensate, and make it fair on newer players.
I'm all about equality. Not sure what your problem is with attacking my ideas, I try to always have positives and negatives to any of my suggestions to make sure they are balanced. If I suggest a buff, it will always come with a drawback.
This is like a small pebble throw in an ocean with more pressing issues, have you even looked at what needs to be done to lvl resurrection? (make another account, grp it, surround it with noob mobs, rez and repeat). Though I may be talking to the average tao player who keeps a major skill at lvl 0 ><
Just suggesting it if the spell should be changed. I imagine the code is all linked together anyway so wouldn't add any extra time (and honestly, I imagine skill points would take seconds to edit anyway).
I leveled res on the first server I got it on. It cost me most of my gold, and was probably a complete waste of time. I do level most skills though, I just don't find res to be a main one. It's more of an efficiency saving than a throughput one. Might be useful in wars though, so maybe in the future. It's just a pretty hefty investment that isn't massively required.
On the bright side, we don't have to kill our pets to level them....
Poison wasn't affected by SC the skill lvl was, lvl3 green poison 4hp per tick for example.
