Change to 16bit Colour not working

Hi,

Those of us not graced with a nice new computer with awesome graphics card find the game almost unplayable, could you please fix this option so that i can speed up a bit.

At the moment my char has a permananet limp and i cannot group hunt.

I would love to go out and but a new graphics card but i have other priorities before anyone flames me.

Could you provide any additional information on what is not working with it?

Also when you set to 16-bit are you hitting save and then relogging for the effects to take place?

Ive changed it to 16 bit and saved. -- no change

I logff logon, settings default back to 32bit.

I had a similar problem on my amd e300 apu - win8 - i couldnt play decent evwn more worth on grp hunts

My daughter has same pc so tried it on her rig and guess it ran in lightspeed only difference we had me had latest graphicdrivers she had the win 8 default drivers... So i switched to win8 default drivers (for my ati gfx) and this helped ... Possible u got same problem as i - btw i cannot switch too desktop 32bit try switch game 16bit doesnt accept its always 32bit selected

So let me get this straight.

When it says

32? When options box is opened, this is the "worst" of the two graphics settings.
16? When the options box is opened, this is the "best" of the two graphics settings?
