Character DB going corrupt.

Seems like after i had a power cut (had the server running), the existing characters won't load up. The characters are all there when i search for them using the DBServer, yet they won't display on the character select screen. It is not an IP problem. When i create a new account and a new character, it all works fine, the data is saved and everything, but it won't load the old Mir.DB/Hum.DB for some weird reason, probably because it wen't corrupt. Now my question is, is there any way to maybe fix the DB or maybe transfer the characters to a new DB?

I dont think there is :-S,not too sure tho maybe some 1 else will know more.

Hmmm i have never had a problem like this. Maybe you should try another DBServer program?? just download some 1.9 files, and take the DBServer out of thm, and wack it in yur current mir files.

Try rebooting the server.
if not look in your BDE and make sure the link is correct.

its not BDE, its the actual char database., the file in DBServer.

Have already tried all the things stated upper with no luck. Trying Kaoris Mir2run program right now.

i had same problem with files herelast week , wot happend with me woz i put the server pc back inside the dmz, this gooosed the char db files, not to sure if way to fix, i just used backed up ones ^.~

i did have to happen a long time ago
but all i done to fix it was
copy ur existing char BD files delet all of the db server Folder use the orignal from the set i d/led then run the server made new chars
closed down the server then deleted the thoses char.db files and put in the ones that went wrong rebooted and it seem to work for me but thats the best i can do at mo hope it helps

Well i ended up doing a fresh start and setting the EXP x2 for a few days
