Cheaters arent getting treated as they should be treated

When you compare different sections like his movements from 1 min to other parts its completely different. For me the guy is lvl 40+ i very much doubt he has just stuck cheats on for this one single boss so how long as he exploited things before running into someone who could record video evidence?

If it was me as GM and I was there I would of one shot him to remove him from the fight and if he dropped own fault for using cheats. I would of then looked at how long had been cheating and who it was. If they were a nuisance to the server would of just perm banned them there and then but if they were a positive thing for the server I would of gave them the choice of perm ban or continue playing in return for say their whole kit / gold so they would keep their levels but have to start from scratch for gear and cash with any other incident resulting in perm ban

nah he got teleported and told to stop cheating or something idk he told gm it was a latency fix he did lol

That's some intense PvP right there. The whole 'RT when someone even looks at me' takes some serious skill.

Also, the instant run after SD gave it away.

I would say he is either bypassing or dramatically speeding up the flinch animation on his client, I saw the same thing on chronicles. Would explain why he is able to instant run and the sudden speed up after been hit as your client plays flinch animation at normal speed then has to catch up with his location.

I dont think there is any "speed cheat" going on there.

sometimes he instant runs then other times he walks as he should, pretty strange.

Was thinking the same, This doesn't usually happen unless toggled on/off on the cheat menu which is doubtful that he was doing this during pvp.
Still looks like cheating in certain parts.

so chrons uses delphi based files and apoc uses crystal based files? the two are completely different and you cant compare 1 person using a speedcheat there vs here.

c# flinch is exploitable as i pointed out here

in the 1:30 the tdb hit landed slightly late as rudolf had started his walk into run, he then ran, as the server registered hes hit, hes forced to walk two space (he changes direction) its a delay in sending receiving being hit

1:50
in the 1:50 the flinch is played but there is no damage recieved, so the server may not force him to walk on 0 damage

from watching it, he is very fast, but then, you could be very slow.....

3:40
hes cained by archers and flinches but there is no damage numbers.... do you not see damage numbers on other players from mob hits on apocs files?

4:00
again he is hit by an archer but is forced to walk a few seconds after when he changes direction.

nothing im watching give me enough to say definite cheat. but it is highly suspicious. it could be the walk/run code modified client side but there should be checks server side which force the walk, which is the delay your seeing.

you should also avoid things like "new windows" as this is crystal files, your windows version and fresh installs of xp with tweaks dont make a tiny bit of difference.. AFAIK

thats my thoughts anyway

If you didnt deal the damage there would be no damage numbers for you showing and im actually not very slow watch the fights with the warriors i can catch up to them just fine and land hits on them when i get flinched by an archer i instantly walk i have never gotten the flinch run a few steps then walk

It does look suspect, one thing that is more annoying, is RTs in the DD Kr, just turn them off, would make PvP much more interesting then just spamming RTs lol

Same **** they had on Atlantis, it works exactly how lilcooldoode explained it. It's like a catch up from being flinched that's why he seems to bolt out on a instant run when hes hit, just insane speed up the time of their flinch then gives them a few step window to get a super speedy run going. It's a modded client 100%

Permanent ban the ****, cheats are not permitted in any game. He has no excuse.

Yeah, now that you mention it, seems to be the case. The bit where he speeds up only happens after a flinch, which would be the catch-up that everyone else see's...

Interesting, I assume Sanjian's post should solve this, though.

Whatever punishment you decide you need to decide swiftly and stick to it.

(Personally, a perma ban for using a modded client is justified)

i delete peoples accounts :)

0 tolerance is the only way to deter action in future, the difficulty is proving it.

but with a server that makes money and lets say said person is a big donator, it does tend to tear morals in a different direction.

im certainly not saying this is what is happening at all.

If you ask me the real cheat is that Skele tanking DD for that long. Jesus Christ is DD weaker than a PB Oma? I've seen PB oma's kill a freshly summoned skele faster.

They have broken pets, currently pets solo MTK just being rs'd, they could do with some help tbf lol
