I remember back in 2002, when I was still an elementary school kid, I went to an illegal internet café in China.
In China, you had to be 18 or older to enter an internet café. An “illegal internet café” meant a place that allowed underage kids to play there.

That night, I was staying up all night playing Legend of Mir 2. There was an older guy sitting in the corner. Maybe he had stayed up too many nights and was too tired, so he fell asleep while playing.
Then another guy, who looked like a high school student, secretly deleted that poor older guy’s char.
Hahaha, I pretended I didn’t see anything.
Imagine if that older guy had woken up right then — there might have been a murder scene
Because back then, Legend of Mir 2 didn’t have any option to restore a deleted character.
