hmm I keep coming across "chmod something.txt to 666" when trying to install a tagboard for my site, any ideas what this might mean?

Change the files attributes to 'allow editing' i think. In windows its just a case of making sure the file ISNT read-only.

google it. chmod is a unix command, and commonly found in ftp.

Its to set what access it should be allowed for other files to get into it.

Use a FTP program to CHMOD it to 0666 or 666. SOme FTP programs you gotta right click it and then select CHMOD.

yup I did google it and I got some tutorials that were just too much for me to understand

do you know of an app that does this for definate coz I don't think mine does
