Well you would imagine with the amount of "Community Advisors" they have then communication would have been made. Seems these community advisors are more interested in advising Apocalypse Mir while waiting for Sapphire Mir to launch.
People have asked on discord and in game yes there will be an event. this is the slowest form of communication. i have my phone on me all day due to work, any questions are normally answered there within the hour. Nigel you should no this....
He's just baiting me, d/w about it shane. Most people know we've moved away from the forums these days.
A pipe dream Mir2 server Jamie had plans on with me helping, but is now mostly just our freshest carrot. I guess you could say its our version of Chronicles V2.0

When did you move away from the forums? I didn't know that. In fact the discord was deleted once, even marble discord was closed. Didn't expect discord to turn out to be the main form of communication, considering this.
Discord was deleted once by Jamie long before I got involved with the server team, since then it's been a... strong, stable, leadership - some would say, we are an independant server that needs no foreign help.
The decision to move away happened when Apocalypse came out, wasn't really broadcast just felt natural as Apoc took the limelight and we were happy just creating content for those who wanted to stay and answer questions quicker there via phone, browser etc. I do still reply to people in PM's here, but I will always push them towards discord as it's just easier for us to manage.
Sorry if me playing another server has upset you, but it's imo been an invaluable source of knowledge on what to do and what not to do for a potential future Mir2 server.
Number one not what to do - claim 3 years working on a server that took 3 weeks after getting paragon files given form Hany.

why would i leave? it's still the best server online right now

Name ONE event on a mir server ever that was fun for more than 2 days.
Last one here was the only one I ever played that was original and fun.
All the others ever were either hand outs OOO give me a present or ppl were moaning about it 2 days after started.
Communication No one reads the instructions or the patch notes anyway.
Everyone wants to ask a question n get a personal reply and even then cba to read n understand the answer
and everyone wants to know everything right away or yesterday and that wont happen

theres your problem, its not events you dislike, its unimaginative people, but the zircon team already showed they can make fun unique events, the only thing i wasn't keen on about the halloween event was that it was a bit hard to kill bosses without getting help from a high level, but it was still great
i see where you're coming from, most events are just "here's free stuff in the form of a christmas tree and present", but those are my guilty pleasures
