Due to me switching out my home server, from a dell T710 to a R730, im looking to backup approximatley 17tb of data.

Only reason for the backup is a fail safe in the event i have an issue when attempting to migrate the raid arry over to a new controller and expanding the drives by an additional 4 drives.

in an ideal situation id have a mirrored server and wouldnt need to do this, but im not made of money lol

any recomendations would be helpful

That's a lotta porn my guy

That will cost a fortune in the cloud. If it's just a temporary failsafe why don't you just back it up to a single HDD?

p.s. **** your avatar

is it just needed while you are migrating everything over? just buy a dedicated server with high storage for a month/cancel it within the 14 days (possibly)
16tb, little extra to get 24tb
