I find it really curious that usually IT forums a vehemently anti-Microsoft and try to boycott all their products (except grudgingly Windows XP, though some banter on about Linux.) So far from all the reputable people on this forum, I've only heard support for all of Microsoft's products...

People want to strike at the machine that is M$ due to several reasons.
You'll also notice the overwhelming majority of those people are still using windows and not linux, as they'll say due to "software compatibility", which is true.
This is what I figure: Is there one product out there that is stable enough to be used in day to day tasks and has a large software library. Yes. That product is made by M$.
In addition, I'm not sure what you consider support for M$ on this forum.
