any1 no how to change Commands i really want set my own Commands

M8 you do this by hexing *Moved to hexing help forum* and m8 try searching for a hex guide. You need a hex editor and then you search for the command and then type in what you want but it need t be same length otherwise it won't work (well u can change the length but its sort of complex)

u have to download and install hexworkshop i suggest, then press ctrl+f and make a search for a string text with the value= to the command name.

for example to change GameMaster command:
search type: text string; value GameMaster
u will then find this hex: 6761 6D65 6D61 7374 6572
now to change it overwrite in the right page layout over the GameMaster the new command, if the new name is shorter u will have to correct the hex and make it end with 00 00 00...

here is an example change GameMaster to GodMode:
GameMaster (6761 6D65 6D61 7374 6572) is made of 10 letters while GodMode of 7 so this is what the new hex will have to look like:
6761 6D65 6D61 7374 6572 = GameMaster
476F 644D 6F64 6500 0000 = GodMode (notice the last 3 letters became 00 00 00.

if the new command is longer... u will have to make another type of correction.

example: change GameMaster to SuperMaster:
as b4 Gamemaster is made of 10 letters while supermaster of 11 in this case u must look b4 the hex which corresponds to gamemaster (6761 6D65 6D61 7374 6572), u will notice there is a 0A00 0000, instead of 0A (which is equal to 10, the number of letters) u will have to put 0B which is 11.

The gm commands are stored in the m2server u use....
not the mir.exe u run...
This may be your prob.

If you are looking for 'GameMaster', try to search for the
letters, not the hex value, this may be easier for you
to search for, instead of trying to search for the hex value's posted above.

i got a new mir 2 m2server and i duno what the commands are thats what i was asking

oh sorry, in this case the commands in normal version1 m2s start at the address 000D4C68 (this number can be seen on the left coloum in hexworkshop)

the mob chat rar file that was released a while ago has a program with it that lets you change the gm commands without hexing yourself.

its easy get HHD HEx Editor (download.com) then install, open m2server in it, press CTRL + F, then type in the ACSII box the command you wish to change, it will find it, type in the command you want to change it to (note: leave out the "@" from the command part

yes, i explained that but he wanted to change commands that were already changed and that he didnt know what new name they had
