I have been reading these message boards for a long time now and it's got to the point where I feel I must voice my opinion.
I have the utmost respect for BabyHack, The piles and piles of abuse, disrespect and silly childish flaming he gets on a daily basis is well childish.

This server imo is by far the most superior server that I have seen in mir in a long time. ( this is my opinion disagree if you must )
You are all quick to judge and flame but what will you do if the server was closed down? You'd be stuck with your finger in your butt since I'm pretty sure no other server offers more than this one does.

Flame if you must, Call me a suck up if you must.

P.s. This message is not aimed at everyone but a select few who always seems to run there mouth a little too much. They know who they are and I'm sure you do to, So i wont go name calling.

Maybe this is a pointless post but felt I had to give my 2 cents and defend the server I love, Because there's only so much someone can take before they say Bugger it and ninja vanish.

It's been this way for a long time. I think the real problem is, the happy users don't voice that they're happy but those who aren't complain as if they're entitled to something. Their voice ends up getting heard the most because they shout the loudest. This only servers to discourage the GM's because why work on something when all you receive is hate?

All I ask for those who like to run their mouth is that next time you're angry, think before you post about just who you're talking to and how it'll effect them, and what you could do to make your post more positive and constructive. A positive post gets a much better and swifter reply than one with excessive swear words.

Might just be falling on deaf ears but it's concerning just how many people there are who don't appreciate peoples hard work on something that's a hobby and done out of their own time.

Thanks for the comments but this is really starting to become to stressful and really not worth all the hassle and abuse.

Don't let them get to you you guys have done a great job why even let the negative comments affect you? People are still playing, and even the majority of the crap talkers are still playing and will go no where anytime soon. If I were you I'd literally ignore every negative post directed towards you and be more like every other game site/forum and not reply so often to the players.

Fortunately the forum users are a small % of ingame and appreciative players, hopefully the staff can just ignore the ****, yeah we like to wind each other up on forums to create tension ingame and fights, an outside of the Internet majority of people are nice, but trolling becomes addictive to them, however abuse towards staff shouldn't be tolerated, this is a free service these guys supply us and they don't need to and can take it away any time they want, hopefully banning abusive players ingame and out of game towards staff will ease the tension and stress, don't need it spoiling the rest of our fun, and yes I'm no exception in trolling or winding people up, but I'd never do it to the staff, winters is still the worst wizard ever tho

The community has been this way for a while now. As Kori said, we only really hear the comments from the idiots, the more peaceful and happy players just get on with it.

We had a great server going with AceM2, but the constant moans and actual abuse I got via PM's both in game and on here was unbelievable. You try and ignore them and carry on, but eventually it gets to you. Sam/BH and co, like myself all work full time, have families yet they still manage to find some spare time to give some sort of updates to you guys, so that deserves a little bit of respect if nothing else.

Constructive criticism is fine and I'm pretty sure it's welcomed. But if the team don't agree with you, don't rage and start throwing out abuse like a 5 year old. Suck it up and carry on.
If you don't like the server, fair enough, it's not for everyone. Go play something else.

I take my hat off to all the team members, past and present. Takes a lot of patience to put up with this community.

• Samuel, 2.Babyhack 3..koriban they all do a good job tbh ,,, the server in a better state and i can confirm its the best server from years .. it near perfect with all stuff in it and with the team who running it .. this server will live many years if the ppl who running it continue supporting it

Please dont forget that the reason Acem2 closed was that the server team walked away because of the nonsense from the "community"

Well said Painkiller this is the first server I have enjoyed since Euro well run and lots of fun to play so I hope it doesn'y go anywhere any time soon. I am sure it is annoying and stressful when people just flame the server sometimes they do it without good reason. Like painkiller said if you think somethings being done wrong or you think something could be improved then the team welcome some constructive criticism but that doesn't mean they are always going to use those ideas as they have to decide what they feel is for the good of the server. I think the whole team are doing a fantastic job and I commend then on there works and thank them for giving me a server I can enjoy again. Personally if I was on this team everytime someone decided to swear and be abusive to me they would get a temp ban from posting on the forums and there messages wouldn't get a reply.

Agree with this, make it a sticky. Abuse will not be tolerated, if you have a complaint follow these simple guidelines.

Any trash talk should be punished.

Ultimately these people need to realise it's a HOBBY for you guys. Not a full-time job. You have very little spare time to make changes immediately and things HAVE to fall into a priority list. To put it simply, if there is a problem with somebodies quest and they're stuck with 20 weight permanently on their character due to a quest item, versus TDB totally not working for warriors, guess what would take priority. Scale that up to the team probably having maybe 50 or more requests for things, with time available, prioritisation is applied.

Coming on here spouting your mouth will not make anything happen faster, you'll be looked upon like a childish nonce and majority of the community will see this.

I for one am grateful that there is a server i can play and enjoy and i'm only able to do so due to the people that make it happen. You piss them off, who knows how long they'll stick around. They should consider that next time they do a rage post.

BH has my utmost respect, and sympathy. It seems that some people go out of their way to troll and cause aggravation wherever they can. Some people seem to have a massive chip on their shoulders, and others think that they have a right to demand things of the team.

This is a free service for US, powered by people spending their free time on supporting US. It is NOT free for them however. They put in long hours at work, witht he family, and then still find time for us. There is also the costs for the server that this is hosted on.

I think what they are doing is very commendable. BH in particular should be given an award for the crap that he needs to put up with day in and day out. It is generally form the same few people.

If I were BH, lets just say there would be a lot less people with the ability to post on this forum. He puts up with a lot, and my advice, as has been said before, would be to start handing out infractions and the ban hammer.

They detail how awful it is on this land, the rain never lets up, the ground is so uneven that it’s difficult to keep balance on each march, claims that certain detachments have favour of the emperor, claims of unnatural forces to gain victories.

We tracked the treasonous group down, a particularly small group from the advance force. The standard they carry is the image of a gnat. the one creature on this forsaken land that sticks around just picking and picking at my soldiers no matter where we march. We swat these gnats aside as we march but still they do not leave this land. One can only presume that these gnats actually enjoy this world but their nature is to pick.

My unit now ignore these gnats as we march and have found such long journeys to be full of enjoyment.

It's not just this community. The whole internet has developed as certain culture where people seem to get a kick out of abusing people. This is mainly because of anonymity. I bet 90%+ of the people sending abuse or complaining about **** are wouldn't do it in the real world even if they say on here that they would. Iv'e yet to see it anyway.

The reason BH is being targeted in this way is because of his power and authority. He is in some sort of sense in control of a certain aspect of people lives and people naturally don't like not being in control. In this case for example they are not in control of their spell being weaken and feel they are having certain power taken away from them.

This has the same effect in the real world. Look at the governments. They raise the tax on item A but lower it on item B. What happens next? All you see is complaints about the tax going up on item A but you don't hear anything from the people who use item B even if there are more people using item B. It's just how it is. We only seem to focus on the negatives and the complaints.

My advise is skim over these bad messages and never take it personally because at the end of the day you don't owe anyone anything.
