computer keeps restarting!!

well we built a computer ages ago and ever since its been restarting, weve reinstalled windows etc... loads of times but still restarts. Could ther be anything wrong inside the tower. Id say u get at least 10mins on comp before it restarts. any help please.

is it that box that comes up with 30 seconds left then it auto maticaly restarts ? if so its summets to do with Start -> run . type in shutdown -a i think

no its sumit to do wiv how we built it coz its been like it all time lol. i just pout up wiv it. cost sum times it lasts 30mins lol

i aint had it ages . bout a year n lil bit. coz i think it just needs a fan adding to it. Ill w8 for urbans advice. Thats wot hes a mod for.

Is it a BSOD (blue screen of death) if so whats the error message your getting

if your tower is in the cuboard, take it out.

also blast the inside with an air gun to get rid of all the dust.

i did both of those and it fixed all my restarting problems.

Stick your hand in a cup of water at 66 degrees, and then you'll realise the problem.

Yes, you need fans. Get the case ventilated, and get NEW fans. Don't re-use old ones. Also, consider a new power supply.
