Confusion/help

hi i asked abou thtis before and bh sent a link to "the one post u will ever need" but its closed so cant post. basically i cant install dbc2000 on my mates pc hes doesnt have xp cd or cant find it saw this. "If you cannot find your OS CD you can find a fast fix for this HERE just download it and doudle click it and all will be fixed" but i install it and it says please insert xp cd, also found a link to a windows site and that says to use cd wel its no where to be found, so any1 have an answer to this. as ima noob to servers and such. really confussed bout this any help would be great

Strange I wasnt asked to insert my xp cd when i installed dbc. you sure it asks for it?

not dbc the link is to a fix thats meant to sort out a missing file autoexec.nt i think which is on xp cd but cant be found. so i d/l thats coz its meant to fix it but it also asks for cd

I didnt need no fix I just downloaded dbc and the crack...

i got that when trying to install the newer version of dbc.

I use this http://www.dbcommander.com/download/DBC_2000.EXE and this ftp://24.227.47.162/dev/keygen.exe

have you tryed searching google?

right ok slight problem the link u sent me is ok but dbc is messed its &*"$s up this pc. so cant use it, also this ftp://24.227.47.162/dev/keygen.exe doesnt work with that version of dbc. is there any known problems running this wits norton pro security??

You need someone to send you the autoexec.nt file which is found in the windows\system32 folder unfortunatly i dont have webspace to host it for u

Google it, then once downloaded restart pc in safe mode put file into system32 folder and restart pc. This then should work.
