they were online i had to use a diff server starter to get it up :S dunno wot thats all about tho. changed serverstarters yesterday aswell

u gotta check that the dbserver.exe says connected before you tray and load the client

That usally means the server is not fully loaded, Try rebooting.

it happens to me all the time and sumtimes im just restarting the server ova and ova for about 10 mins lol
all cos i cba to restart the pc :P
