Right me and heavensent are both a team of server and she going away for a bit soon and we do weekly updates like quests and stuff just woundering if theres a way of me getting connection onto her server pc without making the server lag out while updating the server if you can tel me please post here

ANother things is dm2 files

When We gm shout out name doesnt show at the side so we dont no who is shouting it i just woundering instead of us typing out name all time is there a way to code that in or what to make it say the name.

as for remote yer its on all xp pcs and as for gm shout well on 1.9 just edit the setup.txt not 100% on dm2

also , if m2server is running, click options, then game, then the chatting tab.. u will see in there a tick box to show names, and also an option to change the prefix used before GM shout .

how can i add my own commands as well mate since i just been looking like @info for players as they can see other peoples infomations @townteleport gives them a teleport if u get what i mean i like a to add few of them into my server if u no how 2 do that please tell me

in the mir200 folder is a txt file usercmd, this probably contains files already if they are lifcos,, with a word to type

eg
@townteleport 1
@info 2
@help 3
ect

then in your market def folder is qfunction-0, this is where the scripts are for all the user commands

each one must start with

[@usercmd1]
then script for giving tt
or
[@usercmd2]
then script for info
[@usercmd3]
script for help

depending on the number you put next to it in the usercmd.txt,, just add the scripts in here

get the free version, gives enough for modifying files,
needs to be installed on server pc, and then on any other pc u need access to the server from

we need something where the server will not lagg us out and i can enter any time i want to. and no1 else can as well.

if ur looking for a program that will run and will give u minimal lag when you access the server go for something like real vnc, google it, or download or buy pc anywhere, but neither of these are guarenteed 100% secure and no lag, the chance of you getting a program that allows remote access to a comp where the files are and having no lag when working on it would be quite hard

real vnc is password protected

not sure about pc anywhere

vnc makes ur pc lag so ur option is out the question can u read the topic more clearer please cause i sed that vnc doesnt work cause it makes server lag.

well try pc anywhere then, i think ur be hard pushed to get a program to access another pc that doesnt lag it due to the mass upload that it has to do to get the info to ur pc from the pc ur connecting to, also have you tried to reduce the quality settings on vnc as you are able to do that,? that will also reduce the amount of resources and bandwith that vnc uses? just an idea

and as for me not reading the topic correctly, i suggest before you say that you need to read your own posts cheers.
