Runs fine on my desktop on Windows 7, but my laptop (well tablet Asus T100) on Win 8.1 (literally exactly the same OS package as a desktop) starts to lag out and eventually disconnect after about 5 or 10 mins playing. When I restart the client it either gets stuck when connecting to the game server, or connects then doesn't load any mobs/NPC's/and has lagged out. Then I have to reboot.

Graphic wise this thing handles it absolutely fine it's definitely a network error. Someone in-game told me to delete the patcher out of the client, download it again and replace the old one. Didn't work.

Anyone else experiencing anything similar?

As its tablet win8 might have some network adapter (wireless I suppose) power saving perhaps? Those things can be pretty strict about power saving. Look in ctrl panel - power options - change plan setting - and there check advanced button where more specific settings are, like that for wireles adapter where you can turn off some power saving...

You could try googling for 'win8 gaming' or some such terms and see if that's some problem more folks have (besides here those playing mir as not many play on tablets I imagine)

Yeah good suggestion tbh, found a way to disable power saving mode on the wifi card through device manager, but mine seems to have a different wifi card to the one they shown in their support which doesn't have that option. -.-

Hope I can figure this **** out.

Really pissing me off that I can't play on lappy now... I've noticed that in the "logger" folder ALL of my logs are spammed with:

Does this identify the problem? :P
