I have been repeatedly contacting chron GM Sam since the start of the server with the same problem and am yet to see it resolved. Others here have posted about the same problem and we are getting no answers.

When a new patch/reboot happens i am unable to get onto the server and it just hangs on connecting to server, then failed to connect to server every time. This has happened on one of my computers since server start, and now it is happening on a brand new laptop that has never had any issues and isnt used for anything other than mir/facebook/emails...

It is very frustrating that im not getting anywhere with you and i am getting no help or feedback. i have tried everything that has been suggested.

Sometimes it just randomly works on its own, and sometimes it doesnt work for weeks. Sometimes it will work after a day. Nothing changing. It has nothing to do with my internet and it is on the exceptions on the virus settings.

This is not something that is easy for us to track down
There are only two players that i know of that have this issue

I have a feeling it is related more to your ISP and how you are being routed to the serer then anything on the server itself

It is a little strange that it seems to happen after a reboot but nothing internet related changes when the server is rebooted

Can you try using a program called WTFast and see if you have any issues using that program to connect to the server

Are you wining the game using the latest patcher?

Thankyou for your prompt response.

I have previously used WTF and the trial has just ended. Its a great program and i found i was running a lot better when i did get on, but does not solve the connection issue itself =[

I am using the latest patcher.

Isen - Thank you for trying to help ^^ unfortunately this was the very first thing i tried way back at server start when plenty were having log on issues and all my laptops are set to that anyway.

The problem has cleared up on the new laptop pretty quickly, but it is still the same on my older one, and my ancient one runs fine too. The reason i cant just use the new laptop is because it is my husbands and we like to play together. The ancient one is just laggy as hell and the screen doesnt even hold itself up any more. lol!

Hi Hubris, have you been able to get this sorted??

have you tried pinging the server ip address and seeing the results of this??
have you installed the client side properties for your network connection in the network connections part of control panel??
also enabling some settings in the networks connections part of control panel may help you out also, click on internet options, click advanced tab and tick the box's for, USE TLS 1.0 1.1 1.2, Use SSL 2.0 and 3.0.

see how you get on with these and let us know,
