cool promo video

I did a compo on my forums in which the winner would recieve Guild Wars game of the year edition for creating a promotional video for ragezone. This was the winner;

It's pretty but I don't see what it "promotes" and I don't think the music is relevant to the first half of the vid.

I was gunna enter this, but couldn't be arsed.


As Tie said, doesn't really promote it (well, it might... but not in a generic promotional video kind of way) - it doesn't really show much about what RageZone is.

Indeed it does not but given that the entries where pretty poor that was by far the best overall... or at least on a production scale. The video maybe used in combinations of future promotion so generally it will include a write up that would specify its aimed at MMORPG developers so its not really a big issue. ^___^

LOMCN should do a similar version. The actual game itself has no monthly subscription charges therefore requires the one off payment for the entire game + expansions at a total cost of under £15.

i liked it, just wasn't sure about the music, made the video feel flat.

lomcn should do one.. but i dont think anyone here is any good with adobe after effects tbh.


edit just took a look at the other entries, lol.

way toomany ad's on your site, as soon as i go to next page im hit by a pop up, then a full page advert, really annoying.

Thought it was damn good!

I for one, actually enjoyed the music and gave it a sort of atmosphere. Do agree on the fact that, really, it doesn't show RZ all that much. Cool as fook though!

ooo i done a few of these, mostly intros though, i used video copilot tutorials though but am sure i done one similar to the one above with the sliding images, not used after effects for a few months now, might learn some more, what i did was do the tutorials first the edit the effects and change stuff around, thats how i learned, but rendering was a **** with my old comp as it would shut it down because so much ram was used -.-
