I just downloaded Half life 1.1.1.0 *latest one* which came with CS 1.5 i also download CS 1.6 but when i install them n i go on Internet Servers it comes up with ur HL.exe is out of date ..........

What do i do i will very appreciate it plz

Why in the hell do you wonna play that old crap when the new CS 1.6 you can play for £9:99? It's not that much dude.

GAME > Half Life 1 (£9:99) > Install > Download Steam_CS > Update it (automatic).

Then click Counter Strike, then a box will come up, prompting for a "CD Key", get you this CD Key when you buy half life. Open up your half life case and look in the bottom corner of the manual. THATS YOUR CD KEY!

Enter it in, and play away.

CS: S being released soon with HalfLife 2 though. :X

1.5 Isn't crap, but the majorty of population on 1.6 is tons better. I sometimes used spend 1 hour + findind a good enough 1.5 server to play untill I realised I could spend £9:99 on a 10x better CS game, plus you get the HalfLife singer player game. =o.

1.6 However, there's all the 'Friends' system and server finder and whatnot -

Im not the biggest fan of CS granted ive only played 1.6 and barely play it at all now (im a Natural-Selection player) im just wondering what the basic differences is between 1.5 and 1.6?

ive heard form a few 1,5 was better anyone care to fill me in on any differences?

p.s anyone play/tried natural selection (third party hl mod)

1.5 was a lot faster GP im my opinion, and much better GP.
