cpu running at 100%

when i run m2server it makes the cpu run at 100%,

does anyone have away of getting this to run slower?

If running a MirServer sends your CPU speed up that much, there really is something wrong with your computer.

ur input is no wanted, my pc is bloody fast, with a good cpu and memory so i dont no why its doing it

task manager > processes > right click m2server.exe > priority > low .

see if that does anything

i have this issues on a intel celerons @ 1.2 GHz.. on my other pc cpu's this doesn't happen..

i have seen that all the new atom cpus also have this issue aswell even though they are @ 1.6+ Ghz

Do you have stupidly high spawn rates, or have you edited things in your m2server setup.txt ?

You can make adjustments in setup that cause the server to do checks at a certain period, for example, if you can set the server to check your position every 1/100 of a second, that would be a low workload, if you could set it to 1/100000 that would be a lot of work for the cpu, if you see what im getting at ?

na spawn rates aint to high they a little bit above avarige i ill have a look at the setup.text thanks trinity

Single core cpu is your problem maybe if it was an AMD you wouldnt have this problem, suggest you spend around £50 on a new cpu with 2 cores.
