The sooner noobs reach end game content the better, reason i quit is because the only competition i had was with team and they just recall 30 people to one boss, theres no competition for boss's and noobs are just stuck killing WT, khaz and possibly ZT when no1 is camping it, that and new content takes to long to be added...
Server team really need to step up there game imo.
+1
New maps and bosses and skills required much more than spending your limited time on this...(turtles was not it)
A few days ago 2 blackwidow members killed a mob that dropped rage...this book, because it is rare, has opened the game out for them....they can now purchase items /books from other players that have also been lucky on guild hunts etc.....the economy works well in this format, Providing another method of obtaining these high cost books will dilute the economy for sure....players wont buy ,they will wait and farm....it will be popular with infrequent players but im not so sure your core players will ty and some have already left through lack of challenge/boredom.
I see this as a quick fix to raise your low/mid end player base,if you want to take a leaf out of scorpions book ,his game content was fast (top end) and accurate and the item stat manipulation system he has is awesome fun(making players unique).....a crying shame he did not control the cheats and wallet warriors. The cash gained from players *upgrading stats*was used in a lottery, anyone could buy a ticket, instant wealth for some.
We all need something to aim for and it shouldnt be easy to obtain..the OKR is a good example....red eyeskulls are rare and should stay that way.The bosses that drop them arent impossible to kill for the smaller guilds.I can only assume your catering for guilds that cant/wont pvp for bosses that drop rare.PvP is they way forward its fun and rewarding.
Arcadia uses instances for a few of the bosses i.e once you have battled through mobs/other players and lvls to reach the kr you teleport in...you cannot lose this boss once tele'd in.The battle was getting there.
If we all have the same kit/skills and no top end content, where do we go from there?
i vote no and i dont have all my top end skills/kit fyi
