Crashing CPU MAXing out

ko i have a 1.1GHZ Athlon on a Virtual Machine (because i can't get it to work on XP even wiv that UN-Plug and Play!!!) but when i'm running my server i have got 350MB RAM running and its fine but ma CPU is getting MAXed out!! and then ppl just drop out because its a bad connection please help me

first of all virtual machine slows it down

second 1.1ghz isnt always enough to run a full spawn server
try just lowering the spawn cause i couldnt even get my ei server full spawn on athlon xp 2.8k (lol full spawn was 95k spawn tho ) could only get 85k mobs on 2.8k so 1.1 will be something like 30-40k i guess

to run server you dont need a sound card (20 meg of drivers ) geforce2/3/4/5 (15meg of drivers) no msn no icq no IE6 no DX9 no wallpapers just svga all this stuff just ues 's cpu time

What have you been smoking?

You need nothing more than a basic system to run the server files. Why not have IE6, DX9 or any messaging system? He's running a PC not a slave. :P

yoyo guys i have no spawns on!!! and its a blank machine i play off my other machine is there nothing to make mir server not as thirsty because a smae server should run easily on a 1.1Ghz

Have you tried running adaware just to make sure theres no spyware taking your processing power? One of my friends computers was running really slow so he ran that and found about 1500 pieces of spyware (don't ask me what he'd been doing on there because I don't know).
