you need to use a priv server client to connect to a priv server
a simply search will bring up lots of threads where i have said this
in short you CANT use the euro mir client on a PRIV server

I'm using the one off one if got a off a website that said this was the proper version for private usage. *I think it's the one you get off the offical page normaly.*
I though this was going to be alot simpler. Can you explain the whole process of getting a client and connecting and making an account.

This might sound stupid, but you actually are running the mir server files right?streek said:

Sorry, didnt read your post properly, anyways are you running the server locally as in using the IP 127.0.0.1? If so, you should use that IP setting up the client, did you use the right name? If you set the client up properly, it is pretty much obvious the problem lies within your server files.
