Created my own wireless dongle for xbox 360

Hi,

Last year I was one of the lucky 10,000 people to get a free "La fonera" , today I noticed you can modify the firmware and basically use it as a bridge like an adapter for your 360... 9 hours later, its working

Wireless xbox 360 ftw , tomorrow I shall cut and join leads so the power is generated via the 360 rather than a power lead.

nice 1 but if u ran it from ur 360 ur more prone it RRODing or power brick failing in some way as it will take power away from 360 wont it not correct me if am wrong am a noob at these kind of things really lol

Well if the wired pad can run fine and Im using a wireless pad, im sure the fonera connected via usb is just like a wired pad being connected yet using less power, so shouldnt be much of a problem.

Chuffed even more.... Set up the network to link from LAPTOP to XBOX and now i can stream movies, mp3s and pictures... example..

Laptop > Main Router < Fonera(hacked) < Xbox 360

Laptop downstairs , with sharing of files (example hellboy2)
Xbox upstairs connects using hacked fonera and streams content and plays hellboy2.

all wireless! for free!

You can create and edit any hardware that use's firmware, you don't have to just stick to one thing to do it.
