Currently, when "critical hit" is active, it works for the whole of the spell.

IE, when Crit hit procs, all of the blizzard / metstrike hits, hit for the 'critical' hit.

It should only occur for one of the parts of the spell (ie 1 in 5 crit's)?

Currently works on all 5.

Critical hit % added on items.

Allows you to hit double your max when it procs, it lasts the duration of one spell, take met strike for example, which lands 5 hits per square, if no one moves. Over 9 spaces?

Assuming met strike would normally hit for say 600? (120 per tick) it would hit 1200 (240 per tick) over 9 squares.

Surely this proc should only be one of the 5 bits from the met strike?

It's a little buggy when you can hit 300,300 as an assassin, or 1200 with arrow barrage. (Both of those without red psn).

IMO just change it to 10% per item but make the damage multiplier something like 1.25. Instead of a 1% chance of 2x.

That's why it is only 1%.
That's why it is very rare, two or three items in game? compare to four or five meteorstrike in game now?lol

Imagine those 300 static shocks bouncing 5 times. If bounced on 2 people that's 900 and 600 damage from one cast.

So its only a problem now and not 3 months ago when Cntroublemaker told you about it? lol

1. Troublemaker asked to test critical % on me.
2. Hits double damage, so I try and buy some items

The rest has nothing to do with me..

It's a rare stat and should be very effective as a result, it can still be just as effective by changing the 1% to 10% and knocking the damage multiplier down from 200% to 125%.

Or you could leave it as it is, and let mrtashohnie, bard and co. throw 1400 arrow barrages around.
