thers no error message, and its begining to anoy me its happened 50+ times through out the whole server life, tbh i think im being ddos'd , can any1 refer me to any kind of ddos protection?

mhh what sql server u use ? 2000 or 2005 ?

i had the same with 2005 sqlserver and mysql passwort if u dont have one that have letters and numbers and big and smal letters and not the right lenght he change it all the time and ur server crash mhh odbc cant connect to the dbs than

im using 2000 m8, ive had this sql password for one of my tests server be4 and that ran fine with no problems

kk with 2000 i had it also never mhh dos attack possible but i dont belive it u can block that with a good firewall but also a cheap one can handle it like zonelabs

You can check your router log to see if its being dos'd.
