i get this error when i try to run this exe

Delete cd.ini file start the server again and u will get the same msg, then open the ini and make sure your MsSQL settings are correct.

ive loaded it again and same error, the ini is in korean so im kinda lost lol....

but it on top 3 lines it says

µÇ½ÃÜÂë=12345678 <- i changed that to my sa password, and i still get the error =/

Right next step, have u set all the DBs and ODBCs up correctly and all working? Also i see that your not running the server from c:\Mud3, have you updated the !setup.txt to the new directry?

yup, i have dun that all... im gonna change it to C:\mud3 then try it all from that

Which files are you using? Also can you post a screenshot of your CD Database please.

im using the LS chinese files + the LS-Envir-V1 update thing, should i be using different files? =/

i think the databases i restored r all korean still -.-

reinstall SQL and look the options of install correctly, i have the same error, i reinstalled sql and its ok!! run..

i got it to load =D, but now i get Emergency Map start timer error =[

You need to re-go through the guide i think, Emergengy Map error is not an Error but a Statement. Screenshot of whatever helps as we cannot read minds jusy yet !!

Well there has been a few Cases of this happening and so far they were:

• Not set up !Setup.txt Properly so it could not connect to the SQL Database - thus Stops.
• In the !Setup.txt the dir names were too long and stopped it dead.
• SQL Set up wrong, firewall getting in the way and so forth - this was solved by changing the SQL Server name in the INI.

To save you opening all the programs every 5 mins trying to get to the bottom of this, you can open just the server exe itself and it should load. Even if the rest of the files are all wrong, it will still load the server. It only Pays attention to the folder SETUP and the files !Setup.txt It bascially tries to talk to the SQL Database by the info you Supplied and if it faisl - you egt that error on your Screenshot..

IVe got it all to load finally thanks to ur help, but i cant login to the server =[, i click the server name and nothing happens

Goto that and make a cin file with your details in, then overright the old one in the client folder . Also make sure u have made a shortcut to the mir3.exe and at the end of the params added -c -u.

i sorted it, i forgot to change server name in TBL_SERVERINFO.

all fixed and i got ingame =D, now i just need to add some new stuff etc then find a host lol xD
