Current state of cheats

Not going to mention any names but there are quite a few cheats playing the early morning uk hours. Easily able to tell as they skip on screen and hit faster than server can register.

I'd be happy to share my insight with a gm if theyd pm me but its a bit silly. Skillless kids that still get flopped with my 130ping.

Your playing with a 130 ping. Them skipping about and dancing all over the place likely means they have sub 50 ping and that your client isnt updating fast enough (due to the 130ping) to show where they are 100% of the time. The client is likely processing newer information on their current position faster than your connection can keep up. I agree this isn't always true, but i see a lot of this on a 250 ping for people not using cheats.

I haven't announced this yet as I wanted to get some good testing in (which we have now)... But speed cheating is completely detectable and eradicated (yay).

People will still appear faster than others if they have a better ping etc, however, if they are cheating we would know... No doubt we will still get a bunch of reports about cheaters, but for those who wish to believe it, speed cheating as it stands is no more.

I have got my hands on a chinese program that has been developed specifically for Chronicles, and have been working on patching/blocking each of small hacks it allows (rev for mobs, light hack, make yourself look like you wearing a different armour (but no one else can see it lol)) so far they have all been completely cosmetic.

I've turned it up to blindingly white levels, it doesn't really help when it looks like someone threw a can of white paint at my screen

It's funny people say my ping is why when I'm one of the fastest players ingame. Lol.

It's all about ping quality anything under 150 with low loss is good on here with how movement checks work.

Since Sam and babyhack hand out warnings rather than direct bans, people don't take this seriously and it means people can turn them off and wait for them to be updated so there undetected again
