I have been giving a little thought to possible customization around the skills and character builds.
I appreciate that this is not one of those games where each character can be built differently but some diversity between characters aside from levels and kit could be a good thing.
As I said this was a little thought, I have not gone as far as trying to counter my own thoughts with the negatives so please feel free to point out why this would be a bad idea.
New Slotable items - once equipt cannot remove. does not have dura must speak to an NPC to break it or slot a new one over the top breaking the previous one.
Idea - customise the skills without creating anything overpowerd but offering some slight bonus' along with negitive impacts.
I will give a few examples. of course these are rough ideas and would need the team to discuss in depth for balancing reasons.
Specialisation Tablets.
Equip - Warrior
Benefit - TDB no longer uses MP
Negative - Cannot Shoulder Dash while equipt.
Equip - Warrior
Benefit - Shoulder dash now pushes 3 targets
Negative - Cooldown of 5 seconds on SD
Equip - Assassin
Benefit - Can run under moonlight effect
Negative - Cannot cast quickfeet
Equip Taoist
Benefit - Poison does Red and Green simultaneously
Negitive - SoulFireBall gets a cooldown of 3 seconds.
Equip Archer
Benefit - Rapid Fire randomly double casts a spell during "up time"
Negative - MP usage increased, Cool down increased.
Just some thoughts, but itd be nice to not know what everycharacter was capable of.
Could even go as fasr as things like triple Flaming sword damage but cant TDB.
there are alot of possibilities and would need an awful lot of thought and balancing but i think it would be a fantastic addition to the mir world and something that would seperate you even further from other servers in the past.
