I was wondering,

I have a C:\ drive which is 40Gigs, and a D:\ drive which is 160gigs, the D:\ drive has no sign of a register, it seems just like a storage space, so i was wondering if it was a good idea to install games to it?

I don't know what you mean by "no sign of a register" but if the drive is formatted then yes, it's safe to in stall games on it. I have my HDD partitioned, I install all my software on my C:\ drive and save all my data (pics, movies, music, etc) on my D:\ drive. That way, if anything anything messes with Windows or I find I want to reformat for some reason, I don't have to spend time backing up loads of stuff.
