Again. Where does it say about flame sword cutting through shield, all it says is people will be getting 1 hit despite having shield up. Dunno what reading comprehension could possibly make that statement say "fsword cuts through shield"
If I said "I got 1 hit by flame field with shield up" it doesn't mean flame field damage ignores shield ....

This has to be the dumbest argument I've gotten into, but i'll bite.

Anyone who's actually played a wizard knows that a wiz with shield doesn't get touched by anything other than TDB. I mean literally, a 150 damage Fsword becomes 30 against a shielded wizz.

His comment already mentions he has around 100health at level 25. I can tell you I have 133 at level 31. So - he's clearly expecting flamesword to do more than 133 damage against a shielded wizard, for it to one hit them. The only way that would ever in any circumstance ever happen is if it cut shield. Which it doesn't.

I get his point worrying about damage but until he's actually experienced level 3 mshield on here it's all just speculation which is pointless. Every wizard before shield has been paper thin - before sins and archers came along it wasn't so bad, it was survivable. Sins and archers made their early game so much more terrifying, yes, but it doesn't matter once a wiz gets shield. If it's still a problem once wizz gets lvl 3 shield believe me I'll be the first person to PM the GM's about it.

Simple fact is wizards are getting nearly killed by everything. Ive played this poxy game for 15 years and have never been so easily killed while playing a wiz.
Shield is set to 50% not 66% and we have euro stata, it just doesnt make sense, i dont feel tanky at all due to this, it ****s the ac multis for reduced damage income.

On euro at 45 230 hp (
A dc 100 fs (260%) luck 7 with just shield no ac SHOULD hit 86.66666666666

On here it hits 130

This is a huge problem stat wise/defence wise and is half of the 2 hit problem.
Dont worry warriors, tdb primary hit is unaffected.

How GM's havnt noticed PvP on here is a joke is unreal. I mean unless you have a bag full of sunpots you have to tt/rt after getting hit once. And if you aint expecting a attack your dead in a split second. Theres no fun in that. Never been on a server where you can die from a class simular lvl to yourself in a matter of 2 seconds. No wonder the user count has halved.

This damage issue you mention happens naturally as the server progresses and people start getting more and more powerful kits/level 3 spells - but has only exacerbated when they re-introduced the Sun Pot cooldown. Something they really should not have done. PvP does not feel "fun" for your average user when you are at constant risk of instantly dying (besides warriors, who have that natural big healthpool). At least with sun spamming, you can prevent death momentarily and make a hero play or choose to TT.
