Dark Body Bug

Not sure how much this has been tested..

For a level 46 skill that has a 2 minute cool down this must be a bug, this skill is almost completely useless. It is soo bad. If it didn't die right away at least the flinch part would make it a really crappy version of a tao or wiz pet.....that has a huge cooldown...and is level 46.

I don't by any means think that official is the best way to go but just for means of comparison, Dark body did about 75% of the sins damage, so something decent for pvp and leveling, in addition it made you go completely invisible when you cast it.

Now that is potentially OP but for such a long cool down and at level 46 at least it does something.

Another suggestion was to make it a skill that has about a 15-30 second cool down and is a skill that you can aim that runs out and does a decent damage aoe explosion.

These are just a couple suggestions, something has to be done to make this skill useful.

So it shouldn't die instantly? It also cuts AC is should hit 100%?

I think it was working as intended, as a flincher and nothing more however the spells effectiveness has just been halved by the flinch per second change.

Sins now have a 46 Spell that:
does 2-3 damage per hit
does not flinch very often
A huge cooldown
Very very low health
Poor damage explosion.

Its a huge huge disappointment of a spell that takes month and months of playing for your average gamer to reach and obtain.

When you think wiz get blizz 2 levels prior and wars get rage 2 levels prior it really is a painful experience the first time you cast that dark body hoping that people have played it down just to realize its horrible.

I do no have any suggestions on improving it as i don't think its in the assassin playstyle but if it is to stay, maybe give it ninja stars so that it attacks from range? or make the explosion deal a good 300-400 damage increasing the health of the clone wouldn't hurt either.

Sure it cuts ac, but it doesn't really matter when it only does 80 damage total every 2 mins...and as far as not dying instantly it would then just be a really bad version of tao/wiz pets that does less damage with a long cooldown...

It remind me when I complain about mirroring- highest skill in game. No FF, Bli or Metro in game and Wizz are **** at that time.

Please do a quick test of it, I would be very surprised if it is working as intended and not a bug.

Currently highest level sin skill with the longest cool down in the game and it is almost completely useless. Half the time it doesn't even cast and then you have a huge cooldown (although why it was even cast in the first place will remain a mystery)

As a consideration even if this skill had no cool down at all it would still be terrible, that should indicate something....

I would guess by the lack of response that this isn't viewed as a bug? It is a bit annoying, made a post with real questions and real suggestions and the response is minimal at best....It seems the best way to get change or to have a conversation is to moan and moan, call everyone an idiot and use gratuitous cursing....

By the way I would literally take every other sin skill over the highest level longest cooldown sin skill. Trap is the only other skill that competes..

I have been giving darknody abit of thought.
As its a flinch/utility skill it needs a much larger health pool, id suggest an additional 1500 currently its 1hit and its dead so offers no utility or flinch at all.

Next is the explosion. To counter act the higher health, recasting darkbody should detonate it. So a remote walking flinch bomb.

Then there is the damage, it feels like little but my spell is only level 1 so ill revisit when its lvl 2/3

OK.

From my tests it definitely doesn't cut through ac/amc and the damage also doesn't increase when the skill levels.
