Darkbody DO NOT need any modification. Mirroring needs minor modification.

I think Darkbody is fine.

Reason:

It is not designed for causing significant damage. It is designed for flinching and distracting.

You get moonlight effect when you are giving a clone to attack mobs/players which ends by a AOE explosion. It allows you to hide among mobs as well as distracting mobs/players and cause flinch.

Conclusion:
One skill has three functions together, I do not think it needs more DPS damage.


Mirroring still have no improvement between level 0 and level 3.

It suppose to take less damage in level 3.

Dark body will not flinch anyone in standard kit above level 40, it's damage is far too low. It also dies the instant anyone hits it for more than 100 damage...

The hide aspect of it is annoying because you don't want to STOP and WALK when you are chasing someone. The AoE damage does between 20-50 and is like being hit by lava in hell cave, it does nothing.

Id rather it didn't hide you, or explode because both are annoying. The explosion caused murder.

Why are you using darkbody when chasing someone? It's not designed to be an aggressive spell.

sounds like an aggressive spell to me......

Do I have to teach you to jump on players with 3 sec cooldown shawdoStep when clone explosion flinch players?

Either way, it currently serves no purpose aggressively or defensively.

If we wanted to hide, we can use moonlight.

Cast a clone - which doesn't attack anyone unless they have agro'd you. It will do ZERO damage until then. Barely hits people, and can be killed in 1 hit. 3 minute cool down on this.

Barely flinches players, and the AOE at the end, hits for about 30 damage.

For a level 46 skill, with a 3 minute cooldown, would you expect something better?

Imagine Blizzard, 3 minute cooldown, does 10 damage per hit, rarely slows people. Would you agree that is broken?

I do not understand why mirroring 41 level skill is so weak until I have blizzard, flamefield.

Crescent slash is a completely different spell, and hits for 160 max. It's a level 50 spell, compare it to Met Strike.

Mirror ring has never been a big damage spell, you can use masters target on it, giving infinite flinch, it also has a LOAD of HP on it.

Dark Body has never been any use.

How can you lure mobs with something that runs directly for its target? You can lure with mirroring, because it follows you, or you can rest it.
Last hit on players? Really? lol. It can't even kill a bugbag maggot.
Its used to flinch, however, it rarely does

Darkbody on chrons is miles off what official is. But then again so is FlashDash.

Mirroring actually drains MORE mp as the skill level increases on official, in returns it hurts a tiiiny bit more. So..

Gotta agree Darkbody is the most useless spell ingame by far.

lvl 46 spell for sin ( there second highest spell atm )

but tbh i dont see a way to fix it without making it OP , add damage, life, and duration to the spell...then ppl have something hitting them that they just cant get away from allowing others to smash them in a split second.

( as for mirroring beening ****...piss off . )

Mirroring is fine, your just a bad wizz with luck 7 making you look good! Learn to play your class effectively.

Whoever thought masters target for wizz clone was a good idea needs to have a second think on life.

Remove that and you can buff the hell out of mirroring all you like.

If I was in a big lure on a sin the last thing I'd do is cast Dark Body, I'd be SHSing or moonlighting.

I have been playing a sin lately and the only reason I ever use Darkbody is if I'm sat around waiting for a boss rs and cast it randomly on mobs at the edge of my screen.

I almost lost my breakfast when I saw this thread. Guaranteed every sin in game would take mirroring over dark body. Considering Dark Body is a level 46 skill and has a 3 minute cool down...I mean really....I don't know why I am even replying to this thread, I suppose it good entertainment.
