Data Files (Weapons, Items etc.) Not Working

Okay, I think this might be a common problem but...who knows...DO YOU!? I should hope so...

Anyway, I have put all of the new Hum.wil, Items.wix, Hair.wil or whatever they are called into my 'data' folder. The files are intended to correspond with the images of the items on the server I want to play, but when I go onto the server I still cannot see the items...

Any ideas why?

hav ya made sure the Stdmode is rite???

otherwise it wont show in-game apart frm char screen.
