DB Server problem

as title says having trouble with my DB Server, basicly i just reinstalled windows and backd things up on a diff drive put everything back on installed sql again set up and getting this

Thats down to Vista and SQL 2000 you cannot run them together you need sql express 2005 when running windows vista.

u can run sql 2000 on vista, i have done for the past cpl weeks. its jsut since i reinstalled vista yesterday i get this problem

It runs/installs on vista and you can edit the db with vista however the DB will keep disconnecting, Unless there is a patch for it to work on vista.

duel booting xp now and works fine hehe cheers, its wierd tho i did have server running on vista with sql 2000 and it didnt conect and disconect =/ lol.
