I've searched through the server files, and searched the forum, however I still can't seem to find the DB's anywhere inside the files... So I can't get any further with my SQL/Mir3Server...

Please can somebody either add me to msn to help me get this working or post a solution here??
I have followed the guides etc. Checked the stickied thread so please don't send me back to it again...

Thanks,

are you reading the guides?

you restore. you don't import.

there are no 50 cruel files...

the 2 you should get.
F CruelDragon3G.rar - 12.07 MB
F CruelDragon3G_Holley3.38FreeUpdate.rar - 2.77 MB

Ok, I appreciate your help Kaori...

Heres the pure and simple of it, when I go into SQL on the guide it says this...

'Right click on the mir3db database icon in the right window, and click “All Tasks” followed by “Import Data”.

Click next at the “Data Transformation Services Import/Export Wizard” window.

From the “Data Source” pull down menu, select “Microsoft Access”.

In the “File name” field, browse to the location of the mir3db.mdb file you wish to import.
usually in c:\mud3\db folder as shown below.'

But I can't find 'mir3db.mdb' in the server files... where can I find/get it?

i believe demonics guide isnt for crueldragon especially.

like kaori said, first look in the cd files for files such as...

account.sql
manage.sql
game3g.sql
hero3g.sql
crueldragon3gbasedata.sql

goto sql enterprise, and restore each one.

if your database is something.mdb or something.xls then yes you use import. (you will use this if you are editing the database on access or excel)

but

if you see something.dat or something.sql or something without an extension, you use restore. And be careful when you use restore. make sure you look at the directory you are restoring to. (you will use this for the first time and for rewinding server if you have a backup plan)
