How about a debuff that stops you from killing the boss every time it spawns? Once you kill a boss another group has to kill it for you to loose the debuff.

The debuff makes the boss hit you and your group a lot harder. Making it almost impossible to kill it.

Thoughts?

I can see where you are coming form in principle with this, but maybe in practice it wouldn't work. A slight improvement, but maybe not enough to make it valid would be say a 24 hour timer, but only for certain bosses.

how about you have to restart mir b4 you can kill a boss?

I would rather they just implemented dungeon versions of each cave that you can run once a day but have less chance of dropping compared to the normal version, would mean the casuals actually get bosses to kill.

I like boss camping tbh... Used to love KS camping when I was a kid, uses to set an alarm to get up and kill it :D

Pretty terrible idea, the idea of this game is to become the best and dominate. Otherwise items would be statted the same and levelling would be pointless. I guess, it can get sucky when one guild dominate, but isn't that the challenge?

With the foxboss dropping aswell as it does this would be better than changing its drops. And would be better for item distribution.

Obviously it wouldn't work for a lot of bosses but it would be good for the likes of WT, EC which are noob bosses that no noobs get to kill.

The way to stop higher levels milking low level bosses is to make what they drop useless to them, by introducing new kit/areas - which the team have said they are working on. They have lives, which some of their player base appear not to... thus content will be completed faster than it can be created, always the way with Mir - just need to be patient.

As far as FoxBoss goes - it's a decent length wait between bosses, and it takes an Orb to enter - it just needs to hit a lot harder than it does, it's hp/mob spawns etc are fine - just up the damage and remove RT's from 1st.

lmao what a daft idea! Get a better group/guild and take that boss as it sounds like your getting bent over and shafted for a certain boss over and over judging by this thread :P

What if you have to do three laps of BW then run to MW and tag a shellnipper then harvest a live ona for its cloth but run away before its dong lands on the floor all before you can kill another boss?

ok maybe this was not thought through enough lol. tbh never played a server this populated for as long as i did.

the main problem i was trying to fix was the lack of noob bosses for noobs. even mobs that would have been killed at level 25-35 are still killed by over 40s and pretty much camped.

the fact that a system for having levelled instances of caves is a good sign and will greatly improve the server.
