how does a dedicated host work? how to connect to a dedicated host how to operate it? i don't get how it works exactly. can someone post step by step what happens after buying a dedicated host?

You buy dedicated server.

They will send you details on how to connect to dedicated server.

However if you don't know the simplicity of how a server works, or how you connect to a server. Then I would suggest you don't go down this route and get yourself a PC, install a Server OS onto it and learn how to use it.
