Sorry if this is not the right section

Anyway, to everyone who knows about Dedi hosting; what can you recommend? In the means of what kind of system a server would be capable running on, and the best places available for getting a dedi host etc.

Thanks in advance

Right, i'll consider using FlexGaming then. Thank you everyone who recommended it to me. However, like Daneo, I don't know which option would be best to go for. Any suggestions on that?

Depends on user base i would say.

0-50 about 2GB ram single 2.0Ghz+ CPU

50-100+ about 2-4GB ram dual core 2.0ghz+ CPU

Obviously by working it out by user base, Its based on how many mobs are going to be spawned and how many areas you will have, Plus the server activity useing more resources.

the specs of OS 1 is above.. thats £360 ish for 3 months, = £120 ish a month

unless ur user count is expected to go over 120-150 i wouldnt bother with such a high spec 1, altho.. u always can its a gr8 lil dedi.

id say a duo core would do u fine if ur user is below 70-90, or a xeon i found were good

if u tell julian wot specs ur after he'll give u a quote and build it

yeah i have been testing my servers out and have worked out that up to about 100 users a dual core xeon with 2 gig of ram is fine, if ever we get more than 100 users I have a quad xeon sitting in the sidelines waiting to get turned on, and tbh I am finding that owning my own hosting company helps a lot on cost :)
