It's actually ok, although it looks tutorialised, in which case if it is you should say.
You need to spend more time on your designs, from where I am it seems like your dropping them out like rabbits in mating season. Calm down and spend more time on em.

its all tutorialised , seperate ones tho.
I got the Vista wallpaper look from these Mac OS tutorial.
Beam one for well a beam tutorail , and the text was a gloss tutorial..
but surly every1s work would be tutorialised .
Ive mastered the text and vista look (didnt need to relook) although the beam ive forgotten parts on doing it

Never been a tutorial noob, restricts how you develop your designs way too much, and most of the time you will create the effect, but rarely process and store it.
Most of the time i just knob about till i get what i want, and by that stage ive discovered something new.

Completely and utterly true. I think i've said that not so long ago in almost the exact same words. Try not to use tutorials TOO much.
Its a very poor attempt to be honest, the tutorial of 'beam' looks ALOT better. Your version look's like you tried to create a similar effect without actually having a tutorial in front of you. None the less, its a learning step for you i guess.
