Deva Damage (+Shinsu)

Has anyone else noticed that the damage of a Deva levelled up to 7 is lower than a freshly summoned Deva.
It seems that the lower level Devas dish out more damage.

Aswell as this, is Shinsu meant to be a childrens blow up balloon toy? My level 7 Shinsu can be overwhelmed by a few WedgeMoths.

I've always thought Taos were the class to have pets, whereas the Tao pets at the moment barely have any practical use.

Are they supposed to be only useful as a distraction to help the Tao escape while the pets crumble?

My tao rapes, just saying. However yes the pets need an ac/amc buff, and deva is now TUable again. Sigh

Deva used to have 2 attacks a fireball which did not bad damage around 30-40 ish and a like iceball attack which not good damage around 4-5 then they changed deva to single attack (lightning) and this attack used to be the average between the other 2 attacks so doing around 20-25 damage per hit , but as you have said it seems to have been changed again , so deva is waste of time at mo doing about 2-5 damage per hit . Dunno why they didn't leave it as per the 1st change from 2 attacks to 1 was pretty useful then but now is not worth using for damage just flinching.

lol. I did't notice the higher the level the less damage dealt that does really suck. Although plans to get a new pet is on the cards. I would hope the server team would make some changes to deva and shinsu in regards to this. Surely the higher the level the higher the damage is supposed to be (officially)

Cue the tao is only meant to be a support class flames. :P

Ill check the levelling issue, but if I'm honest it goes against the convention of pets... If there was an issue with deva levelling it would be an issue with all pets, so I doubt there is a problem.

WedgeMoths and SpidBats always did more damage to shinsu then most other mobs that's nothing new.

Yes, I think level 0 was the most powerful, although i cant be for sure since i havent checked this as mine is lvl 3.

I kept a look out for the damage whilst on B7. I think you are right.

Sam I will test is over the weekend for you if you want.

10 hits on a level 3 deva and get an average and then I will do the same for each level until its max and post here.

Ill do the same for shinsu as if it is the case I would like it looking into mate.

Why should it be the same old crap always ? Deva here had 2 attacks at first and was way better then the TBolt.

Yes
Deva didn't level up on euro like skel and dog. It was not TU able. It only had one attack but it did make a difference in pvp and pve.
It might have been that it should have levelled up like skel and dog, but if it is supposed to level up then level 7 should do more damage and be harder to kill than when first cast.

5 spaces sounds about right, i poison someone and deva and shinsu just sit there and do nothing its a joke when lvl 7 shinsu and deva aren't even much help when in pb or zt/dd to help kill mobs(they're only used as a distraction now imo)
