Taos shouldn't be able to waste other classes at all especially in a cave .... What a load of fecal matter
Taoist is a support class and always has been they are way way way OP here and 99% of the problem is the deva master controls, why do you think it has not been used by other servers in the past

I don't play often but sometimes i log on for a little pvp now and again and this thread is true as hell deva is a joke! Either needs commands taken out or LR should be made to last atleast long enough to run away and land a few hits on the tao literally by time you lionroar and dash away from SFB Deva is unpara'd.
What u all complaining at? Deva is in Shops, if it s so easy to pvp on a tao (just cast Deva and run around) go and lvl a tao.
All this nerfing requests are pathetic, if you can t deal with the way it is, quit! I sometimes wonder if ppl wanne pvp with cotton balls and a cool down of 100 secs so no1 gets hurt....

Re-roll a tao.... what so 90% of the server wil be tao's due to 1 spell? Think before you post you bellend.
Coming from you :RpS_biggrin: and i didn t mean that every1 should re-roll. 1. does not every1 cry about taos and 2. what i was trying to say is that it needs a lot more skills to pvp on a tao than casting deva and run around....
Many Archers re-rolled after the nerf, now you want Tao's to be nerfed, so taos gonna prob re-roll...so 90 % gonna be what? wizz, sin and war? Soon ppl cry over the next class beeing OP, so 90 % gonna be between 2 classes?

There is no skill in running around locking onto your target and recalling deva consistently please tell me what skill their is in being a tao...
As for you unseen there is such a thing called freedom of speech, you speak of immaturity yet cause i said i gave my kit away and was leaving you replied with "finally see ya later" irony? I think so. Your crying about leaving if deva gets nerf'd.. goes to show how much you rely on one spell so much isn't it, real tao's with real skill would see it out just like the ones that did before deva got buffed anyway, oh wait, you weren't playing before the buff so what gives you the right to threaten to leave cause of a change in a spell that is already OP. Doesn't give you anyright, are you even able to use deva yet, do you even lvl? everytime you were online all you seemed to do is mouth off in SZ thinkin your high and mighty like you do on the forums. tulip.
Actually reading over your post Japhy, the reason archers got nerf'd and re rolled is cause only a select few archers reported how OP arrowbarrage was, you lot took advantage of a spell that 1 hit's people and you think thats its right to 1 hit people same sorta factor with deva tbh, tao's are enjoying that they can lock on a target and pound the **** out of em and not get touched cause of a silly buff, yet, little to no tao's are reporting it cause of the fact it's their class and they are loving being able to rape face all the time with nothin to worry about. So coming from someone who played a tao for the first 4-6 months of the server i can safely say that deva as it is is unbalanced and unfair, however, it was fine before the buff, it was able to hit and able to miss often and was always good in PvP. Now it's just a game changer.

Like wiz with mirror ? Though I think I saw people sayin that's not much good here.
If you want to get rid of the deva commands then Luck7 sin weaps have got to go too and a cooldown on shadowstep has to be put in.
Most servers I played few people could beat a high tao. Most servers people don't attack high taos. Perhaps you shouldnt either

Wizzies mirror is good and theres a tactic to beating a wiz with mirror, lure mobs like you would on every other server to distract the mirror or kill the mirror leaving the wizard with no mana left.
Agreed shadowstep needs a cooldown but first you need a decent sin that knows how to utilise the spell properly and theres only one person who can and thats toriblack.

Sorry Swamp but that's why some of the really good players choose taos. Played well by someone who knows what they are doing few can beat them. There's lots of taos that aren't that good.

I think it's justified that tao's can easily take warrs since no ther class can take them 1v1 so to make the same somewhat more balanced I find deva justified( am not even a tao)
I also thought archers their AB was somewhat justified and only needed a 10% dmg nerf since endgamescaling wont favour archer with their 2 new skills which are utter crap.
After Tao's get nerfed I'll see wizzies get nerfed and i dont want FF to get nerfed so stop whining i guess you don't even have all warrior skills yet so you have no point atm.
I wanna see the cries when wizzies start speccing like a tank once they have flamefield and the cries will be sour they'll make you cry:P

The only thing that needs changing is masterstarget. 1V1 there is only one target so it wouldn't affect Tao vs warr or any other scenario. Deva is only overpowered in a mass mob situation where the Tao can just flit around with no skill and just let their target walk
make it so that aggro has to be reapplied every 3 seconds so that tao's can't only run issue solved

That would be good for PvP but would screw solo bossing a little, remove aggro when summoned potentially

It wasn t just AB which got nerfed, the complete class got destroyed. Even with the modifications after the nerf, Archers are still ****, we can t do any serious damage, but we also can t take any damage at all (try to pass Ghoul room when no1 wasn t there TU'ing for 1 hour and u know what i mean). Archers can easy be 2 -hitted by a war in average kit, but we have no spell to escape any critical situations...
The way you put it is, that Deva is so OP that it kills ppl, but in fact it only makes you flinch. It s nowhere beeing a game changer. No Tao can win any 1 vs 1 by just using Deva. Nerfing them will be a game changer as it makes melee classes even more powerful.

1.) I started this server when it first went live and i took a break so your wrong there.

I played a tao from 0-43 and was highest on the server at one point.
