I think certain places, like Fox Boss and EM should be a harder kill.

Fox Boss should be a struggle to reach if the boss is so easy and a high tier dropper. First should be rammed with mobs and take a full group to clear through, as should hill really.

Evil Mir needs a serious boost to HP and damage - but allow more melee to hit, the run there is time consuming so that's fine as it pulls you away from other bosses/fights.

There are more, but alot of people keep mentioning this two and it seems like they needed a post.

Please discuss, don't flame pointlessly.

Yeah Fox Boss really needed another post didn't it.

They've already disabled RT's and mounts what else do you want

What team want is to make a boss harder for other guilds, that thier own guild kill infrequently.They have already suceeded in disabling rts and mounts through manipulation of this forum.I have seen no team members in this cave since this update.For members who made such a big deal about this run and boss to then just completely ignore it,leads me to the conclusion .....perhaps if i post where team frequent the GMs can make no recal availiable and increase the damage from these mobs and bosses?
In all honesty i trust that the GMs are now wise to this guilds suggestions on class and maps (self orientated) , they rely heavily on warrior OPness and speed and mobbed caves with no rts will be rich pickings,unfortunatley at the expense of a majority of other players.

EM is much too easy. C10 were saying so 3 months into the server when they were killing it all below 40 i think.
Euro fox boss hit much harder and the first floor had at least twice as many mobs and lots of the clouds and elements and you couldnt rt there were more mobs on the hill too - but there was a better chance of drops.
So yes this is a valid point despite hokus rant.
yes I know this isnt euro but that doesnt mean it should be easier. I would say everything should be more difficult and harder because everyones been playing for years.

I would just like to say in our defense that we only make the changes we really do agree with... Alot of the time we are unaware there is a real issue, or can't reach a mutual decision on the best course of action, so we leave them as is before making rash decisions (learned the hard way).

As for the difficulty of monsters, I agree that they may have hit harder and had larger spawns on Euro, but a large aspect of them being easier is because we know what they are, what they can do and how to kill them... I, personally am less inclinced to focus on current monsters (which are working perfectly fine) and more inclinced to spend time/effort focusing on new mobs/caves that really introduce difficulty.

The way I see it, Euro really had an expiry date, Game Network were paying hundreds of thousands to WeMade for nothing more than a set of binaries, they did not have access to code and was therefore limited to what they could add/how far they could push the server... In the end I assume that Game Network were unable to meet Wemades pricey demands and made the stratigic choice to close the server (thus leaving monsters like EvilMir, FoxBoss etc as the "end game" bosses).

On Chronicles EvilMir, FoxSpirit, Mir Items, Sword Of War Gods etc are merely a scratch on the surface, they may have been considered end game bosses/items on Euro, but here, they were the first wave of monsters and items we decided to introduce to the server (because everyone knows them). We pay for the up keep of the server and surrounding ecosystem (which is significantly smaller than the fees Game Network would of had to pay), and we have access to code, which allows us to push the server as much as we can push ourselves.

To cut a long story short, my opinion is that this is the right time to start introducing new content, as people are finding the current content "too easy".

Concentrating on new content is better given limited time.
My point was that some bosses have been too easy since day. EM and Fox for a start probably others too.
Most players have done it all before and there is no reason to make things easier, making them harder should be the baseline attitude.
For all mirs not just this one.

Any boss that has been easy since day 1, should be left alone as a new player could read its been changed this late into the server and feel they have been stitched up royally.

New content with harder bosses and new AI is the way forward, eventually you'll see people in much better items than what's currently considered top items.

I see what you mean. I did say new content is better thanr evamping old content.
Its only the easiness of the supposedly high bosses I meant like EM and Fox.
Same on every mir server I ever tried everything is easier than it should be or maybe its just because me n everyone else knows how to play. Either way some things are just too easy.
Why Fox was made so much easier makes no sense and EM has been dumbed down simple just about every server

Yeah don't get me wrong, I'd obviously prefer new content, this wasn't a bitchy post Hokus, so I have no idea why you tried to make it one, and I also said they were just two examples Tai - wasn't an e-peen or cry thread about Foxes like all the others, I was merely saying that if new content is still a few months away, then to keep the usercount at it's current level, it might be an idea to up the current challenges slightly - increasing spawns and disabling RTs is a VERY quick way of doing this, but it was only a SUGGESTION, hence it was posted here.

Thanks for the update and quick response Sam, sorry everyone else for making a suggestion in the suggestion section of the forums, I'll refrain from doing so and just revert to flaming like 90% of others.

You have numa to level in, you have easy foxes you have vipers please justify nerfing the only harder more challenging cave.
