getting error message when trying to log in, re started as per shout in game now cant get online

I've just installed it and opening the game for the first time. When I click on the 'create account' or 'settings' buttons, nothing happens.. so I'm unable to create an account of log in. It is also in windowed mode, and I'm not sure how to get into full screen mode.

Any help?
