Well i made my npc, and put it in the NPC_Def folder under the same name as i used in the Database, yet when i click on him i dont get a text box, anything else i should be doing?

probably a stupid question but does it have [@main] at the top?
if so, post the script, for peeps to check over

Yes it does have [@main]
and theres nothing wrong with the script itself.

does the npc have the map number incorporated into the filename?

how have you saved the npc? you need to save it like this

NPCname-0.txt the -0 being the map number

Yes i saved it TaoMaster-11

and in the database hes called TaoMaster

in sql have you enabled the npc?
check in fld_enabled, make sure its set to 1
